lip sync
convincing, believably-timed mouth movement is only one component of successful lip sync. the animator's job is to convey emotion and meaning through body language. principles to employ include: timing, arcs, anticipation, squash and stretch, line of action, keys, silhouetting, exaggeration, secondary action, and staging.


Criteria for Lip Sync:
• smooth, fluid animation?
• body language effective – poses, gestures, attitude, acting?
• animation principles at work?
• keys and timing charts used?
• mouth shapes believable?
• sync works?
